Hey everyone!
I’ve released three short Welsh family history videos this month. The first is about the origins of some Welsh surnames and the other two are about really great resources that you can use to research your ancestors in the UK.
There is also a new post for my Timothy Project: the biography of Timothy Jonathan of Fronfedw (1884–1884), which touches on themes of child mortality, death culture, religious nonconformity, and Welsh periodicals.
Lastly, I have two upcoming Zoom presentations that may interest you:
“Copyright for Genealogists” on May 7, 2025, with the Institute of Heraldic and Genealogical Studies.
“Why is That Your Name: Crafting a First-Name Study” on May 21, 2025, with the Devon Family History Society.
Check out the short videos below and have a great day! Special thanks to paid newsletter subscriber WhiteLight and YouTube member WiggleWiggle!
